My race trailer was stolen from the Carolina rc complex. Please be on the lookout for it. There was a generator inside as well as other rc parts. If you have any info, please drop respond. Thanks Brian Ragsdale

That stinks anytime but especially a week before the nats. David has footage of it im sure, there was a trailer stolen from there over a year ago and the video got it retrieved "unharmed" they had only removed the tag off the back door. Last year Tyler's nats winning truck was stolen while everyone was loading up, it took some time but it was recovered and the thief was caught.

It is not so much the spot as it is in the savings of fuel involved in multiple trips. And the time savings on the day you get there from it being already set up.

Well just got off the phone with Kevin, him and roger as you know have been down there for two days. Problem is, they are still slow. I took a chance leaving my trailer there for 10 days. I bought a new hitch lock that locks a ball in the hitch. May have been a good investment. It cost about $110.00 each way from Richmond, VA. to tow the trailer to Easley. I will have to rethink it for the next time. Was Brians trailer a ramp door or double rear door?

Thanks Larry for an honest answer to a simple question!

One of our locals uses the lock as Larry described but also runs a chain through the wheels,around the axle and what ever else is under there, you would have to use some David Copperfield stuff to remove that trailer, and im sure after all this there will be more people taking more steps to secure stuff, Also Donnie will be camping at the track all week!!!!!!!!

We could always remove the ground and relace it with the hot leg from the A/C. It sure would be easy to catch the theif.

Now, you can't let your buddy borrow it because he could end up in the slammer! :)

I've always been afraid to put the logos and a race team name on the side of my trailer because it would give away what's inside to those looking to break in.... but in this case, it might make it easier to trace if there are words and pics on the side?

I like it! I may just have to have a sticker made up.

The last trailer stolen was recovered a few days later thanks much in part to David having a security camera set up that allowed the detectives to see the vehicle and then find it, they had not so much as opened the door it was untouched on the inside.

Trailer was parked there for a week "UNLOCKED" as far as the tongue.

I think they had their radios with them, so they were not stolen.

This speaks volumes, fellow racers offering to help people out, that may or may not know who they are other than a screen name.

I want to say thank you to all of the racers who have stepped up and are trying to make a bad thing better. We were very fortunate that we took a lot of stuff home with us. We have gotten together and believe that we have what we need. AGAIN THANKS FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT..

I wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of the racers at the nats this weekend. Everyone made sure that we had enough stuff to run. It means a lot. Thank you.... No new new's as of yet. I am working on some insurance stuff and hopefully we can get some money back.
