The Space Pod is an awesome kit, and deserves a proper base for display. I've made up a base and Steve (CultTVMan) will have these available for order soon. There's a lot of detail and the logo rock can be placed anywhere. Please excuse the Space Pod mock-up and poorly painted base!

Nice display base. But I can't decide whether the "pod" looks more like a camping tent, or a port-a-potty. :dude:

is it solid or hollow?

cuz hollow would help in running wiring and batteries and stuff

What would be the cost of this?

Nice base Chuck. Maybe you could drop by soon so I could get a closer look?

Nice base with excellent selection of colors.Perhaps an exta touch of either alien vegetation or alien structure, such as an artifact of some kind, would be perfect. Some figures for the Pod and Charriot are a must. There must be some 1/24th scale figures on the market right now that can be easily modified and painted to resemble at least somewhat the Robinson family.

1/24 Figures are sure to come- just make the base large enough so they can be added later-
The Chariot Robot would work, but next to the pod my question is how did he get in?

You weren't supposed to notice that.
Anyway, the pod base being created is excellent as is, and foliage can be added from scratch, and painted purple or orange as the modeller's taste dictates for that LIS 3rd season "feel". :hat:
Personally, I'm planning on two builds, the second one being a Land Of The Giants diorama with Steve, Mark and Dan discussing Barry's actual birthdate while Fitzhugh is sneaking into the open Pod hatch; this was the most "Dr. Smith" scene in the entire LOTG series.

Sorry I've been MIA for a while - had an unbelievable work week and the weekend wasn't much better!

To answer some questions, the base is solid. It will probably be around $22 or so. Also, as soon as I get my Chariot I'll finish up the base for that. It will match up with the Space Pod base either on the left or right (your choice). I just need the Chariot kit to add some tread imprints.
