I have a question for someone that has this system. I have two, 3PK radios but neither have the data storage module in them. If I buy one of these modules and plug it into my main radio, will the radio automatically transfer my car data into it or will it just add 10 “more” spaces for cars. What I want to do is transfer it from one radio to the other but I was hoping that I would not have to physically put all that data in again, I’m sure I will miss something LOL
OR can I use the model copy feature and copy my data into the module?

Lin,
I haven't used one yet, but I was told you can use the Model Copy feature...
I have thought about doing it so I can use the same setups in both mine and my sons radios....but we're have our pretty close already.

I have one for my 3PK. Although it doesn't do it automaticaly you can use the model copy function. You will have to copy each one to the module. Real easy to do with the 3PK copy feature.
I mainly bought it in fear of a radio failure. I use it to store copies of each model. That way if for some reason I have a radio failure I can simply pull out the module and borrow a buddys 3PK and be right back in business.

Thanks guys, that's about how I thought it would work and after thinking about it more, it would not be very good if it did it automatically.
See Jesse.....easy way out WORKED! LOL

I also have one for my 3pk. If one radio is the original and the other radio is the latest version, but still a 3pk, it won't work. It has to be the same radio... ( 3pk to 3pk) My latest radio is the 3pk black version, it won't trasnfer info. Hope this helps.... JM
