Well my vacation is done. Man 11 days goes by fast. So whats new? Kevin did you race Saturday? Edwin did Kevin give you your engine back? That ol' engine still runs. Made it through the E/W race with no problems other than the head bolts being FINGER tight .Well my wife finally got a job at the hospital that she was doing her internship at. She did 40hrs a week this summer with no pay but now she's gonna get paid from here on out. She's been working her butt off to get this degree and she can finally see light at the end of the tunnel :woohoo: I gotta go see what new gossip is going on other forum/s. I need a good laugh :p Oh here's some pictures of my wife and boys with their flathead and channel cats caught at the Allegan Dam last week. I think my wife likes fishing as much as the boys do! She said it's time to get a boat. I like her way of thinking! Sorry this is off the racing subject a bit but I thought you like to see some pics. So who wants to catch some fish sometime?

It has varied. The first two races were done before midnight, but this last Saturday (due to a late start as there were racers coming from both M-40 Raceway and Duke's) I believe it was around 1 AM.

It's $20 per race, no matter how many races in the series you participate in....

Dave finally got smart and got an RC8!:thumbsup: He's freakin' fast with that thing, as long as his motor doesn't blow up.....

If you could, post before 4 if you happen to get rain soaked on Sat. Looking forward to a good damp track.

Thanks MX131 for a fun night of racing under the lights. Next time I will need a pit light so I can see what I'm fixing! Good turnout of buggys. Again Edwin I apologize for the mishap, things happen too fast. What are the plans for racing after the night series? Back to Sunday? Track rocks for 1/8 scale.

I don't really want to talk about it.... I had a rough night.... It was the first time on the track with my new RC8 and I was testing a few new setups, but that didn't really pan out in the first 2 qualifiers. Before the 3rd qually I pretty much went back to the setup that I ran on my other car and I started off smooth, until I hit Scott's car on the straight, busting my front upper A-arm. That put me in the B-main. I had a great start, but my car started cutting out. For a bit it would respond fine, the next moment nothing, no steering or throttle. Then it would come back for a bit and it was gone as quickly as it came back. I managed to pull into the pits to check it out, when my pit-guy pulled the plug from the battery wire. We got it soldered back together in a couple of minutes, but I was way to far down to do anything..... Just a rough night... Should have gone to Stateline instead... LOL.

hay last week was my bad luck, I was about 5 mins away from setting my buggy on fire just to see if it would explode, but this Sat I had everything but the motor working great. Thanks to Mad Dawg, I had it back out running, but had the power switch turned off in the B main, turned it back on but by then I didn't have a chance for a transfer spot.

Last round of the MX131 August 2008 Saturday Night series this Saturday! If you've never raced under the lights, try to make it out! It's a lot of fun and a whole new experience!

You got screwed a lot worse than me last week. I think I have all the bugs worked out now.

Kinda funny. Been running 1/8 for almost two months now, and have finished exactly one main. But I can practice for an hour straight and have absolutely zero problems......go figure.

There's gotta be 1 more bug in there somewhere.:wave: Let's see, there's a new moon (according to calander) that's gotta mean some sort of bad luck for RC8's. :cool: couldn't think of any other reason:freak: See ya Sat
