DCPDGUY 07-26-2008, 04:21 PM I like the new packaging. Just wish I collected Corvettes.
The Wheelman 07-28-2008, 11:49 PM I like most of them but that '66 is awesome.
Fast Eddie 09-12-2008, 01:38 PM Yes that 66 racer is the one, and it is an authentic model at that. Here is a little blurb I found out about it at blog focused on corvette auctions: "A 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe Race car with a storied past posted the highest sales figure at $362,250. The car was raced by Bob Johnson of the famous Johnson & Johnson racing team. This Corvette won many races in 1967 alone and was notorious for tearing up the SCCA Central Division's A Production Class in 1966-68. It features a 427/425 hp engine with side exhaust, a teak steering wheel and telescopic steering column." I'd gladly buy a 1:64 diecast for 5 dollars :). Russ do you do singles?
JasonZ 09-12-2008, 01:48 PM That pace car is sweet

That is definately a sweet set, but I think a couple corvettes would look out of place in my FoMoCo collection.

Russ does do singles, check out his site for more info. Thanks for posting that info.
chevy263 09-12-2008, 11:07 PM Another cool set i'll need em all  the pacecar and the 66 are must haves though. Thanks for the pics Russ and the info Fast Eddie.
greenvice68 09-14-2008, 01:59 PM Very nice series. Have all the GMs except the 1980 Vette. Tough one to find. I hope series five is just as good. I would like to see them do the 1963 split window and maybe the twin turbo Calloway.
kevman 09-14-2008, 02:46 PM somehow, I am not digging the C6's, the looking kinda odd. But the rest are fantastic.

Me too, and I own a real one LOL! The headlights on these just don't look right to me (though the 1:24 scale Z06 is nice). Besides these and the huge tires on the 1980, everything else looks great. Greenlight nails some cars and others just don't look as good.

You gotta check out the HW Zr1, In my opinion tha is probably the best 1/64 C6 casting out there.
JasonZ 09-19-2008, 01:59 PM Wait.. on the 68 Vette, is the window broken or something on the car outside the package?

For 99 cents, yes it is. I may pick up the yellow one at the Kmart HW event tomorrow.

Good eye, I saw that too and it looks broken to me.

They all look like that actually. Might be some kind of reflection?

After looking at all the cars, it must be one from a camera flash or something like that. I only looked at the one Jason pointed out at first.

I think it must've been some kind of an error. Its looked funky when i first glanced at the picture.
