Frank and Dave had a "Big Franky" box on display at WF. I marveled at the incredible reproduction of the Glenn Strange-inspired painting. Dave told me that the owner of the original painting allowed them to make reproductions right from it.
So while the box is identical to the original Gigantic Frankenstein kit (besides the Moebius logo, natch) you are getting a reproduction of the original painting EVEN BETTER than the image that was on Aurora's box forty-some years ago.
The colors and details of the reproduction is one of the best I've seen.

Thats really cool. I don't care for the model myself, but its great to see so much time and effort going into making a quality product and collectable.

Chris is 100% right. The details on the box just blew me away. The kit looks pretty good too!

now that's cool . can't wait to get mine and see for myself .

Very true Mcdee!! I can't see how it could get any better!!!! But I know it will if Frank has anything to do with it!! Who would have believed 20 years ago that the model companies would take such a chance and listen to their market the way M&M do?? We're very lucky people!:)

It looks like a nice large size box too. Just like the seaview...it is worth it for the artwork as well as the kit. A two for one deal!

The Frightening Lightning Box I saw in the photos from Wonderfest had the famous lightning bolt cutting down the box but not over Frankys' face ...One Cool looking Box...one that Aurora never did...so this is a definite Original !
