I have recently converted a revo into eletric. I have a 6.5 Hv Maxx system in it and can't get it to run longer than 4-5 mins. with out over heating. Has anyone else had this same problem? I have tried many different gear ratios. And its only the ECS I believe is over heating.

This has been an issue with HV Maxx and motors like the 4.5 and 5.5 however most 6.5 don't have the problem. Are you running fans, is there a way for the air to get to the ESC, and motor? Also have you checked to make certain the drive train is free and you don't have a stuck axle bearing?

Thanks for the suggestions.....will check those out. I also talked to Novak today. Going to send the ESC back and let them check it....they said it sounded like it had been run hot repeatedly! I bought it off of ebay so I am not surprised.

The guys there will be on top of it. I have always received excellent customer service. Isn't it great now that you can't give a bad rating to a seller, they dump junk on you and you are just stuck.

I had bought it about two months ago........never tried till about two weeks ago.
