The 2008 indianapolis velodrome nationals August 16th ,17th. Sat. 16th 4 heats of qualifiers, Gates open at 8am racing starts at 1pm. Sun.17th 1 heat and the mains, gates open at 8am, last chance qualifier starts at 11am the mains will be run 1 hour after the last chance qualifier... What classes are going to be run?

As of now the classes for the Indy (Major Taylor Velodrome) Nationals are Car Of Tomorrow Spec Class, 10.5 4-Cell Indy Car, 10.5 4-Cell Nascar, 6-Cell Stock (Brushed) Nastruck, Open Mod Indy Car, and Open Mod Nascar. As long as we have 3 entries we will run about any class the only thing we will need to know prior so that we can have plaques ready for the class. Hope you can join us.:thumbsup:

Would it be cool to run lipo/17.5 in 4 cell/10.5 if there isn't enough racers for a separate class?

This should be a barn burner this year. The classes seem alot more competive then what I saw the few times I was there last year. Nastruck is really close and has been putting on a good show for the fun runs. I can't wait till 16th. :woohoo::woohoo: see ya at the track then.

Lookin' for a few to run Open Mod NASCAR. I guess Herbbie and the guys can't make the trip this year so Open Mod Indycar prolly won't happen. I still have my Indycar if needed. Anyone in for some insane speed??!! Two 10.9 laps with an Indycar... I hope that the NASCAR will be a bit more stable.

There were a few people who had talked about running open class Mod Nascar. John Foister was one of them. Hopefully we will have 3 or 4 who are interested in running. :thumbsup: How about it Velo racers, let's have a roll call for what you are planning on running at the Velo Nats. Count me in for Nastruck.:woohoo:
