What parts are need to change the piston ring? I have somebody to do it. Just need to get the parts.

Check this link for the parts needed. Ring and cylinder gasket. Be sure to look the cylinder wall & everything internal over well.

You also need to check the condition of the piston. look for score marks or flat spot's in or around the ring land and the skirt for score marks as well.
Make sure the ring grove is clean with no carbon build up inside other wise your ring won't fit like it should.

Newbie, If you need some help WRP is the guy for you as he has been around these motors for hundreds (almost) of years and will steer you in the right direction. Mike knows more about these motors than I do about myself. DD
