I'm new on this one- after joining I did do an intro post but I can't see it anywhere on the different forums- This ones a bit different to what I'm used to.

Anyway I'm in Wales, UK and I'm into all things metal- Mainly 1/64 TV & Film diecast but I'm a 100% 'hands-on' customizer and machine a lot of model parts and also develop and cast my own cars in 1/64. When I saw the topics here I just had to join- I'm looking forward to some interesting stuff !!

My background for modelling was originally live steam in a range of scales and gauges, but once I got bitten by the diecast bug I got stuck on TV and Film cars almost straight away. This then led to the challenge of making models of famous big screen cars that hadn't been produced on the diecast market- I've never been the same since...........

You got me in one gunn !!!- I can only guess that you visit joe johnson's 'hollywood-diecast' (superb site)......................My Pink panthermobiles in 1/64 have featured a few times at different stages down the production line, and cropped up on the forum as well.
The best version is still yet to come.......
I've just finished the pattern for the final version and is now part embedded in scopas wax while I work on the molds.
I've got 2 other unique castings for TV/Movie cars on the go and another 4 or 5 planned, so all systems go at the mo- I never get half the time I need to go on all the forums but will get on as often as I can. I'm in the UK so I'm guessing that standard eastern time you refer is as New York, our times 5 hours ahead of you guys, so timing also difficult for discussion etc!!
Anyway, I'll join in whenever I can and catch up on the post

PS- My mistake on the valve stems post- I got engines/cranks/camshafts/exhaust valves etc on my brain and didnt think about tire valves !!!
