ThunderDome II - The Saga Continues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ThunderDome II - The Collectors Set - Custom #1
Here's the first in a yet to be determined number of Customs celebrating ThunderDome II.

Taking ThunderDome II down my own path of imagination I lean more toward an apocalyptic interpretation.
You'll see why I say that in another version of the COE where Barter Town becomes HotWorld.
However if you see the Demon Biker as simply a whacked out Easy Rider it all falls in with what's going on in our Customs Races for Pink Slips.

These COE Box Trucks just keep giving themselves up as great artistic showcases.

Stripped, filed and sanded of all imperfections, primered, 2 Coats of ShimrinWhite and 2 coats of SnowWhite Pearl.
Fenders have factory headlamps removed, they're filled with JB Weld and then drilled for Rhinestone inserts.
Cab is shot with Pagan Gold Intensifier and then a light Intercoat Clear for taping.
Trailer is also Intercoat Cleared and taped off.
Both Cab and Trailer trim is then shot Candy Tangerine Intensifier.
Tape is removed, Windshield trim, Chrome Tape trim and Decals applied.
Then comes two heavy coats of Urethane Enamel Clearcoat dosed with lots of Aztec Gold Pearl-Ex Powder.
All House Of Kolor products, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The image of the Demon Biker is flipped horizontally so his head faces to the front on both sides.
Progressively improving on the Trailer designs I've added in side markers and also brake lights on the rear door.

Keeping with the ominous character of the Demon Biker I airbrushed the rims and grille in Candy Pagan Gold for a darker overall effect.

One can only expect outrageous and amazing work from you Pat. Decals are awesome, and the little things you do like hub caps, lights......especially on this small scale.
I have no where near the amount of patience you do. Great job!
