Hi

I wanted to place this thought into peoples minds, that in order for Moebius to continue producing new Lost in Space kits, is for all of us to buy as many as we can each afford. I plan to purchase at least 5 Space pod kits over the next month or so. Believe me it's GREAT to have spare kits on hand for many reasons. When a kit goes out of production it sometime is hard to find at a reasonable price. Believe me, I am so glad i purchased certain kits in 5 or more quanities over the years.
Anyway, I'm trying to say if you really love a certain kit or kits It may be very wise to purchase as many as you can afford. It helps yourself in the long run and Mobebius. I really want Moebius to continue producing Irwin Allen kits in the future ( IE, maybe someday an improved Jupiter 2 kit??). we can't take it for granted that it will just happen. We ALL have to help MAKE it happen by supporting them as much as possible.

Thanks, Tom

An even better (and more practical) way to help Moebius is to spread the word near and far as to how great his kits are.

What about kits of other subjects, films and tv shows too? Not all of us are LIS fans!
That said, I will still be buying most of these styrene kits anyway as the more money companies like Moebius make the more kits we'll get...even though I might not always be the biggest fan of the actual subject. So I see your point Tommmy!

I might do something a bit different with my Space Pod, Chariot etc.

I admire your enthusiasm regarding collecting quantities of kits. I got on that wagon a few years back. One small piece of advice if I may.....when buying in quantity it is best to get a case of kits at one time from one seller, preferably the guy that has the best deal and is also reliable. LIS pod and charriots are 6 per case. Sometimes sellers can cut a discount on cases (a few bucks on occasion) plus you are only paying one shipping fee of say 12 bucks for a case of kits vs. 8 bucks for 2 kits, etc. Don't be afraid to talk to the with sellers and ask if they do discounts on cases. I know I give up a lot of cash each year on kits and if there is a seller that knows I am going to be buying cases of stuff from them on a regular basis then they are probably happy to make an easy sell of 12 kits vs. having to send out 6 or 12 individual kits.

Happy hoarding!

Sorry, no way in hall can I afford or do I even want multiples of kits. I'm not a warehouse, and I already have far too many unbuilt kits on my model closet/room.

Best way to help Moebuis (I agree) is to spread the word.

Personally, I don't want Moebius to be a LIS kit only company. I want to see Farscape ship kits, Firefly vehicle kits, and a huge number of other untouched license kits realized by them.

Personally I think the Iron man and Hulk kits might have been wasted resources, since they didn't hit in the peak of the movie hype.

I agree! I stock their kits in my store. I have build ups of the Seaview and Dr. Jekyll prominently on display, and have the Space Pod going on my counter top work table. Generates a lot of interest, which translate to sales for me (which means I buy more Moebius kits).

I don't buy a lot of different things, but I do buy multiples of what I like. I bought two PL J2's from a guy when they were new, and depending on how many are in a case, and what price, I might get a case of the new chariots.

I also told my local die-cast shop(who also sells many kits) about Moebius, and will do likewise at other local hobby shops.

I don't think Hulk and Iron Man will be wasted at all. Even if they haven't come out when the films are in the cinema's I think there's more than enough Hulk and Iron Man fans around all over the world who'll buy them.

And nobody else is doing plastic Marvel kits at the moment so I think that's a huge plus in Moebius's favour.

It's both! Buy their kits and spread the word.
