Thanks again to all the crew at Moebius
I just picked up my Space pod from the post via Cultman and WOW what a great kit :woohoo: I am beside myself with joy and childhood rapture.
Now the only thing is to work out how to light this little gem  and what to reschedule on my work bench. :p

I just got my kit too. Well I had it a week but just got around to looking it over. Its VERY nice. I think for lights, if you want it self contained, I would try to add a false floor. You probably can't really see the floor through the high front windows anyway. So raising it up an inch would leave you plenty of room for internal lighting. You could probably access that area through the back door.

Yeah I was thinking about putting in a false floor as on of the options or else set it on display as if it was coming into land and wrap the hollow support for some wiring in some sloos cotton wool painted up as exhaust from the thruster cone.
I'm pretty sure that some well palced f/optics and small leds could do the interior and fusion core with out comprimising the floor to much.

Another option is to model it set up with the door open and scratch build some test equipemnt (basically a box with wires) that you can have running up into the pod. Use the wires as your leads to power the core or any internal lighting. The Robinsons had no shortage of various testing equipment.
