hi i have many cars the worst are the ll fast trackers the pu shoes are so small the only seem to work when the track is flat on the ground any elevation spiral etc the cars stop i tried adjusting the pu shoes only thing helping is takeing off the tires do the wheels come off too ive tried but there really stuck seems like the will break if i pull on them hard regular LL work much better the new fusion ft set was the worst allan in bethlehem pa ps any slot car ho nuts in bethlehem pa area?

Allan, it's the pick-up shoes. You need to tweak the bends on both sides of the contact patch. the first bend has to be a perfect right angle, making the contact patch perpendicular to the 'hook' that goes in front. Also, sometimes the shoes may sit crooked, if you look at the car's front bumper, you'll see the shoes sticking out underneath, they may be crooked, kind of like this: /\

You need to push them in opposite directions to make them look like this: _ _
