How do the new SCX cars run with Scalextric sidewinders?

Are they better matched to Scalextric's new sidewinder stock cars or the older inline ScalextricNascars?

If you are referring to the NASCAR cars, the SCX's are supposedly better and seem to do better when we race them. I have the Scalextric sidewinders and the SCX cars like these always seem to be quicker.

I just recently found and purchased a used Scalextric inline setup, but I have not had a chance to race it and compare it to the current sidewinder setup.
