Next Thursday (July 17) is when dirt oval racing starts at Glenwood R/C in Springville, NY. The track will be flat clay. They're going to try to keep it tight and tacky.

Practice starts at 5:00, racing begins at 7:00

Classes:

Stock Losi Sliders
Open Losi Mini Late Models
1/10 Stadium Truck- 19T/13.5, no chassis mods, stock truck shocks, must use slicks on rear

The track is located on the corner of Rte. 39 & 240. Racing rain or shine (it's indoors).

Why no chassis mods and tc shocks, Make it REAL FAST 19 turn!!! Need to have mid motor trucks allowed, I know of 5 or 6 that would show, foams or rubber tires?

Well bring 'em up! They'd definitely be allowed to run, but probably as a separate class. The idea of the truck class here is to get offroad guys to throw their trucks down and go.

Rubber or foam would be fine. The track rubbered up a lot tonight, rubber tires were squealing!

Round up some guys and come race! Pretty much if you bring something to race, you'll get to. This is really laid back fun dirt racing, not the serious EDM only show that goes on in much of NY. (not that EDM's aren't welcome).

The track is now bigger and a backwards tri-oval. (the tri-oval part is on the backstretch). Should be fun.
