onefastdude 07-23-2008, 07:11 AM The track is ready and I would guess with this layout that the lap times would be in the neighborhood of 35 - 40 second range! C'mon out all you off-roaders and get your fix on this awesome track. Even if you don't have any off-road equipment, c'mon out and check out what John, Roger and Joe have been doing. Maybe you will get the bug and want to try it out.
John Foister 07-24-2008, 10:11 AM Our first race will be this saturday at 3:00pm. Come on out and join us.
Kenwood 07-24-2008, 10:34 AM Track looks really nice guys.. Im going to have to blow the dust off of some of my offroad stuff.. ;)
onefastdude 07-24-2008, 10:59 AM Naw.......leave the dust on it. Remember its dirt racing outside. Just bring your ars out and have some fun with us. lol

He he he... Since Im back burnered my full sized car Ill more than likely just look at getting something new versus my decade old offroad stuff...If I blow 1 corner and break something in my ancient ride Id need a delorean and flux capacitor to go get replacement parts....LOL... Im going to try and get out there saturday to check it out.. Ill have to start practicing those right turns again..
amainiac 07-25-2008, 09:03 AM I'm hopefully going to put some fresh dust on my old 1/8 scale tonight:)
Kenwood 07-25-2008, 10:10 AM I'm hopefully going to put some fresh dust on my old 1/8 scale tonight:)
Im sure your "old" buggy is about 10 years newer than my "old" buggy.. Old is relative.. LOL.. Im going to see how the classes shake out and then start looking at new options..

Truggy its been in the 29's

Jermaine 28.8...somethin
Lonnie Stinson 28.888's

EricL 08-23-2008, 10:51 PM ok,ok... everyone is having a coniption(it's my word) fit about starting the points series in Sept! But, we will try and start racing in September 13th...since the pro's running 10.5 wanna start runnin'. also we have legend cars that wanna start runnin too! So, I sat down with Roger, and discussed times of when we could start up the points race.
::::::::It will be a 10 week race still this fall::::::::::::::
So to get everyone psyched up for it...How about we start the points race in October 11th, 2008 and go for 10 weeks(not counting Thanksgiving Day weekend as part of it...or rather than...OMIT Nov. 29th to observe the holiday! and/or huntin' season). The last day of series being December 20th 2008.
Three heats and 1 A Main Any B Mains the One will Bump up to the A Main sitll applys.
The heats are as a IFMAR Style qualifying.
So Points race dates are as follows:
Oct 11
Oct 18
Oct 25
Nov 1
Nov 8 In honor of the elections...Double points( what do you think Roger)
Nov 15
Nov 22
Nov 29 race day doesn't count for points
Dec 6
Dec 13
Dec 20 Double points
REMEMBER: 2 OF YOUR WORST RACES WILL BE THROWN OUT!!!
and possible gift exchange?!?! Gift's should deal with RC parts...just an idea er a thought
Lets keep in mind...we are going start Carpet Oval Racing On Sept 13th!!!
Als0, Next year starting in Mid January, we will start another 10 week Points series race as well...aka 2009 Winter R.O.C. Points Series Race

EricL 08-23-2008, 10:55 PM Lets see...If we can interest atleast 30+ people to come race the latter 10 weeks of the season on Saturday....Would a free 1/8th scale buggy interest a final winner of the 10 weeks? hmmmm...interesting... Very Interesting
what if it was an OFNA GS?
What does anyone think? Could this be done? hmmmm?
