Greenlight should do a correct 77-78 Plymouth Fury or Dodge Coronet police cruiser... preferably all in white...

Does anybody know what I'm getting at????? HMMM??? it would go nice in a set with that GORGEOUS 69 dodge charger... waiting on an orange one of those with some 10 spoke vector racing wheels... those look cool on ALL the old mopar B bodies....

this would be a diecast dream come true for me! that casting would sell like crazy!! not only the commonly used patrol cars for the dukes of hazzard but that car could be used for many of the popular police cruisers on 80s TV shows as well. aside from the tv themed cars, i believe these would sell like crazy as police cars in general.;)

Yatming did a B-Body '77 Dodge that looks pretty decent. I'd agree though that a GL version of a '77 Plymouth or Dodge would look great in the line up along with an orange1969 Charger with the number 01 on the doors. While we are at it, how about anyone doing a 1st gen Chrysler Cordoba as well.?

I believe that the first yatming casting of the '77 came out in the late 70s or early 80s. It's still in production today. They were included in police 5 packs at KB as recently as last year.

Here are a few pics of the Yatming '77 Dodge Monaco.

Here's a pic of a Dodge Coronet Custom they did with opening doors.

Tomica also did a copy of this Coronet casting with opening doors as well.

Pics are from Doug Breithaupt's collection which can be seen @ http://www.breithaupts.com/totc254.htm

Yatming is one of those underated brands in diecast that has done alot of unique castings.

Absolutely, a 1970 Fury coupe GT and a stock wagon would be great as well.

This one of my biggest gripes with JL, the release so many frickin wrong police cars for the dukes series its ridiculous. GL please come through on this !

I would buy several if them! It would be awsome if they put the steelies/dog dish wheels in them. This cars was used on "CHiPs" alot also used by the "Decin County Arkansas SD and Sherriff Branford" in Smokey and the Bandit! Super cool 70's police car. A gold or light metalic unmarked car would be totally awsome variation too!

They were in a police 5 pack along with a full size van, truck with a fold down tow aparatus and a Hybrid Ford Crown Vic/Chevy Caprice casting. Don't remeber the other casting in the pack.

A 70 fury would be nice... great cop car and a Sport version would look sweet... All those Monacos/Furys in Smokey and the Bandit were BADASS!!! especially the ones with the white steelies and the shaker hoodscoop...

I'd also LOVE to see a Col. Decker (A-Team) style 77 Fury, done up in MP olive drab... no frills baby... I love strictly business Mopars.... hell, that would be a great series...

Strictly Business.... steelies and dogdish wheels only... fugly colors, or police style...
