According to this, JGR will be announcing today that they are releasing Tony Stewart after this year. Tremendous driver, but I can't stand the guy. Still, Gibbs built everything around him, so this has gotta hurt.

I don't think he has been happy since the Toyota switch! Can't say I blame him. I wonder if Kyle B will be great or fizzle like his brother? Gibbs could have had Dale Jr as well if it wasn't for the Toyota deal but I guess money talks!

looks like newman will go with stewart. mears or stremme to childress. and mears could go to penske in the 12 car. his uncle rick has ties to penske from indy racing.. look for tony to drive the #14 car.
leaves riggs and sauter hanging. but, not a big deal i don't think.
mears looks better in the 12, as they have points and emphasize qualifying. if mears goes to childress he would drive the 33 car and he would have to qualify as it would have 0 points. childress does not qualify well, and mears wants to race.
all rumors. will start to shake out in a few days or a week.
