I am trying to learn as much as I can about these cars, so I want to ask a couple of newbie question. I have herd that the front bearings are skateboard bearings and are metric. The rears according to my measurements seem to be measered in inches. What are the deminsions for the front and rear bearings. I have a lightning car now. I do have some bearings from a WCM and they appear to be the same size as the ones on the lightning. Any info would be awsome.

Standard rear bearing size is 1/2 inch by 1-1/8 inch. Front bearings are 8mm by 22mm if memory serves me. Yes the metric bearings are also used in skate boards as well as other things.

Thanks for the info, what is the correct width for the rear bearings. The WCM bearings I have are 3/8 and seam a bit wide. Would 5/16 be the correct width for a lightning.
