Sticker tires are not a good way to go in anything other than stock, maybe.

I think you will find most will "break-in" a set of tires at a time to get them to that "sweet spot"

I agree with Scott.

My idea of scuffs would be running them 50-75 laps at a hard pace. This way you'll know if those tires are the "sweet set." John's tires hold up well these days so your not hurting them by scuffing them several laps. It's really good to know what you have before entering a long race of 250 laps or more.:thumbsup:

try stickers in a .12 race in Easley and you will find the wall very quickly and you will gator the tires
