At least the house didn't burn down.
Look at all the fires started out in California.

How many volts are in a lightning bolt? I doubt if too many electronics could handle that!

How about the temp of a lightening bolt. 3000 deg F. Hankster.What was that mounted on and how did that fair through the strike?

It was mounted on a tree. No visible damage to the tree other then a burn mark where the wiring was touching the trunk of the tree.
