View Full Version : got brushless dyno? katf1sh 07-01-2008, 08:02 PM http://www.redrc.net/2008/06/speed-passion-lipo-packs-analysis-tool/ speedpassion does! disruptor10 07-12-2008, 07:06 AM there stuff looks pretty trick, would like to try one of those speedo's KenBajdek 07-13-2008, 11:14 PM I'll believe it when it actually hits the production floor. Echeconnee 07-14-2008, 08:41 PM and it begins, lol brian0525 07-14-2008, 09:22 PM I am still waiting to recieve my voltage over wifi!!! lol pmsimkins 07-14-2008, 09:44 PM I'm waiting for them to beam me and my equipment to the track, like Star Trek, so I can save gas money and time. James35 07-18-2008, 03:33 PM Although this may be useful as an "analysis tool", the title of this thread is mislabeled. From the article: ...outputting data such as Volts, Amps, Watts, RPM and KV This is not a "dyno". It's not even an "accelerometer". A dyno uses a controlled load to accurately determine horsepower. An accelerometer is not a dyno. An accelerometer uses a heavy flywheel and uses mathematical formulas to estimate what the power would be. Accelerometers are usually not accurate because the load lessens as the RPM's rise. This Speed Passion analysis tool does not provide either a constant load or flywheel. It may certainly be helpful, but don't get your hopes up. It won't determine the horsepower or efficiency of a motor. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
