And you might want to check the flywheel key. toland79 06-30-2008, 10:16 PM thanks, but the gas is fresh, and everything is turning normal when i try to start it. Any other ideas. (i.e. carb, pto, circuit breaker,etc.). geogrubb 06-30-2008, 11:49 PM Post the engine numbers Model, type and code usually found on the engine shroud above the spark plug. Have a good one. Geo 30yearTech 06-30-2008, 11:49 PM What is the model and type number off of your engine. Sounds like you may have a stuck valve. pyro_maniac69 06-30-2008, 11:52 PM just because its turning "normal" doesn't mean you don't have a marked or sheard flywheel key toland79 07-01-2008, 04:49 AM Thanks guys. The model # is 196707, type # 0133-01, code #, 92082610. toland79 07-01-2008, 01:40 PM :woohoo: 30yearTech was right on! I pulled the head off, turned the motor over, and sure enough the bottom valve did'nt move. Gave it a light tap, made sure it would close and open normally, put back together and it fired right up. saved me a ton!
