OK - I have been racing cars, trucks, and boats for years, and have always wanted to fly! I picked up the Parkzone Cessna and am very impressed! This little plane is awesome!

I have a few questions:
1. The directions say to launch from your hand (for beginners) when I do, the plane dives strait down to the ground. I have to pull up in the radio, and then the plane goes strait up. It is very tough to get it going on a level plane. Once I do, it's all good, but just that first few seconds are tough. I tried to play with the digital adjustments, but no luck - is this common?

2. It will fly to the right in very tight circles, but to the left are much larger circles - can that be adjusted?

Thanks!

Micro are you giving it a pretty good slightly upward toss to start? It sounds like it might be nose heavy and has to get up enough speed for the elevator to offset it check the CG.

Congrats on the plane.

First thing when you fly for now make sure there is NO WIND. These little planes get tossed quite abite. Remember on the sticks when you put back for up. So the trims work the same way. For lunch pick a spot about 60+yard in front of you....then when you throw...just a light toss, aim for it. With the throttle at full it should gently climb out. When you input controls start small then increase. Very little imput can make a big diffferent.

You can increase the throws of the servo by moving the control rod in on the control horn on the rubber or elevator. I have mine set on the 2 hole towards the inside. Dont go to the nearest one untill you have some flights under you.

The plane will circle different because of the torgue of the motor one way.

Mirco try a larger field before you go into fly you back yard.

Thanks guys! I was not giving it a toss, I was just letting go.

Tang - I went to the R/C airport just down the street from me. So big wide open area!

This is really cool!

BTW - what does the 1 and 2 position button do on the remote?

I must admit, it is much harder to fly than drive a car!

Pylon race that would be good. I have r/c plane plyon racing in my blood. I would love to.

Well I am getting pretty good at flying! To date, I have only broke the main wing, and unfortunately, today the prop. Tang - how does the prop come off? I took the rubber nose piece off, but the prop looks like its on pretty good....

Micro, grip the propshaft with needle nosed pliers and unscrew the prop.

The prop can be tricky....there is a fine thread on the end of the prop shaft. If anything is weak on this plane, it is the prop shaft so be careful. Most of my repairs to the wings can be done with scotch tape. You can also use Gorolla Gule. Walwart or Harbor Feight has it.

Tang, foam safe ca works great for repairs and weighs almost nothing. Just be careful with the accellerater, if you use it too heavy it can make enough heat to melt the foam.

it does work but it can make the foam brittle in that area
