69Stang 06-27-2008, 11:47 PM Well, I missed out by a post or two, but I still wanted to say thanks for the offer to the board members. What better way to peak interest in your products than to sow a little seed on the boards. That was very cool of you. So again, thanks!
camarors 06-29-2008, 04:49 PM Hey t3,
Do you have a web site?
t3cochise 06-29-2008, 06:39 PM Hey t3,
Do you have a web site?
No website. Doing the masks for myself mostly and sell some here and there for supplies. Got tired of overpaying for them so I bought my own vinyl cutter. The link below is temporary as I am in the process of reworking some stuff. Check sub albums since opening page is blank.

bob8748 07-05-2008, 05:54 PM Playing with the TDII Truck. Its a little dirty and needs some touch up. But hey... in progress...
Thanks t3cochise!!! This is another first for me (never tried this before). Was a lot less painless then I expected. A little detail and I'll be happy with it. Its a lousy pic but I'm having one of those days.

bob8748 07-11-2008, 12:40 AM The negative style is the only one I've tried so far. You did a better job of taping also.
I want to try mixing the colors also. This one died? It started life so well. Quick question. If painting the body first, then applying the masks. How much time should be allowed for the base paint to dry? Rattle cans, still learning this stuff but having a lot of fun with it.
zeb41 07-11-2008, 10:01 AM Dan,
I was wondering how you get that marbled effect. I know that on larger objects plastic wrap can be placed on the wet paint, but that doesn't look like what you have done on that dairy truck. I see marks on that truck that indicate manipulation of some sort of tool, such as a brush or a sponge. Could you shed some light on that?

The marble effect is basically black base color then HOK Marbelizer then tweaked with plastic wrap. The DD in the pic I actually used a plastic bag from Home Depot.

Thanks for the info Dan. I thought I recognized some of the marks on that Dairy. By the way, that color combo for the marble is fantastic. It really makes those flames pop.
