This 1/24 MotorMax 1992 Chevrolet® 454 SS™ Pickup came in a kit. It is a very simple model with a sparsely detailed interior. And the engine and engine compartment are almost non-existent except for the air filter and carb cover. You would think that MotorMax would have put more attention into these areas at best since it IS a 454 SS. I silvered the poor excuse for valve covers and silvered a couple of other parts that were also poorly molded.

Exhaust tips were made from silver-painted thin plastic tubing. Wheels were blackwashed and flame decals applied to the hood and sides.

At least it has a trailer hitch on the rear bumper that will come in handy when bringing back some junkyard jewels for restoration.
