You can use the Cutom Works GBX outdrives. They cost more than the Associated ones used to but they are available:

I haven't tried this or seen them yet, but the Thunder Tiger Phoenix BX is a reincarnation of the B3 and those outdrives might work.

There are plenty available. The Associated ones are available again. The thunder tiger Pheonix BX is just a relabeled b3. IRS does have the Lite Drives they are made from 7075 and are the lightest b3 outdrives available. Team GFRP makes some for the b4 tranny's which are the lightest b4 outdrives available. CW does sell steel outdrives as well just make sure you get the GBX ones as the GSX are for the 2.60 tranny's.
