For the time period these were released, they are great castings. The Ford sedan and wagon are my two favorites of the bunch. Can you give us any info on the truck sitting on the trailer Tom? Looks like a goldmine collection of vintage MB. Really like the way you set up the pic with the background and and boxes. Keeps a neat and organized appearence to the pics. Thanks so much for sharing.

Chris, I had no idea you were interested in VWs. This is a complete shock to me.

What kind of car (purple) is that just above the Jaguar and tractor?

The model is the number 53 Aston Martin. Here is one in the more common green color.

Very tastefull set-up
But I donīt like the term "more common" when it comes to models that I miss in my collection as the Aston Martin  :p

Its a very fine casting in both colours, and to a larger scale than many castings issued in the same year. I suspect the larger scale was due to extra personal attention from Jack Odell , because he was owning & driving one of these at the time.
Perhaps the number 53 had a special significance for Jack Odell .... 1953....
Interestingly enough the next 53, the Mercedes 220SE was also Jack Odellīs personal ride. Now I wonder if he ever owned a 1967 Ford Zodiac ;) , thats a bet I wouldnt make:wave:
