WOW! Always amazed at your collection!

What do you know about OD custom Ferrari's?
I am wondering about one that is on the bay right now. High bin, and the seller says it's mirror green. Do you think there is such a car?

I've thought of branching out to the Matchbox cars, maybe someday. Thanks for the reply MBtom:wave:

Sure looks legit to me! I've seen that color on a Eldo and an Elky both.
Not worth the $750 he's asking though!

Here is an older photo (I have added 3 more models) from the "yesteryear-section" in my collection. I'm a little picky on what to include as I have made a decision not to expand beyond what can fit in the cabinet

Here are shots of my childhood redlines and other Hot Wheels. They're sitting on the plastic holder that they sat in for 30 years until I rediscovered them recently. Since I'm lucky enough to still have my originals, when I got into collecting just recently I decided to focus on newer cars in packages in order to keep them distinct from these.

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e113/SMS369/toys/2008-Jul179.jpg
And here is 1/4 of my Lesney collection, all the loose Superfast cars on the top shelf represent my childhood superfast collection, most are recently acquired repacements but about 10 of them are genuine new to me originals

Matchboxtom is indeed blessed with a beautiful selection of store displays , some of which I can remember from my childhood and perhaps one or two which I may in future be lucky enough to buy for an affordable price.
Here are my Huskys,Juniors and Rockets.I have added about 1000 cars to my collection in the past 10 years ,on top of the 500 I have from age 3 to 16

A strong candidate for the most collectable Playart must be the Opel GT - and scale wise it fits nicely with hotwheels, Lesney and Corgi Juniors cars - the boxed Lemonlime car has been mine since June 1973

Yes, that's one of the things I love about the Corgis and Dinkys of this era.

Here is my latest acquisition, a birthday present...
