The Black Hand the new track President asked me to start this thread because he can't get to away to do it. Races will be held on Sat. nights. Start time through the month of July will be track setup at 4:00 pm racing at starts at 6:00. In August time will change to 5:00 pm do to the sun until we move indoors to the carpet later in the fall. Four people are on the board who will each run the track at least once a month. The were asked and all accepted their job. Chris President, Matt Bayless Vice President,Gary the First and Harold the Second. Setup and tear down of the track will be done by all who wish to race. Entery fees to be anounced at track. Entry fees will be the same for eveybody.
Classes that are to be ran will follow into one of these catagories.
18 scale must be box stock with the only change to foam tires on the carpet is manadtory. No other upgrades period. Not even transmeter.
4 cell 13.5 open to any manufactor {roar rules}
open mod. Lipo are legal in this class no motor limit.
1/12 scale 13.5 indoor on carpet only.

Hate to ask, what will I need to bring to race outside??

You will need to precharge your pack unless you can charge off a car battery. And your batteries will need to have plugs. Their isnt power. Table and a chair. Sunscreen and bugoff spray is helpful. Bring a wing you will want one. If you need help putting plugs on your batteries you can come over to my house early and I will help you.

OK. Thanks. My packs are put together using Deans Plugs. What tire Combos are you using??

TM tires of course g-2 in rears and lf white, rf g-6 , or rear whites and white lf g-2 rf. Sometimes a magenta on the rr but it got to get heat into it.

Just got back from Indianapolis! I'll be there next weekend.

Outdoor car rebuilt and ready. I took out the bushings and put back in the bearings. Or the other way around haha. Is there suppose oil in the shocks? I just added more quacker state seems fine. Don't tell Donald duck though.

No not really. We do run carpet during the winter and asphalt during the summer.

Don't worry you never mentioned the KSG...No joke the are 2 other Ksg kits being produced since that one. Thats why my offer was $75.00 . The GEN2 and the soon to be GEN3. My brother likes Ksgs thats why the offer was made.

Who all is going to Fastlane this weekend?

I realy want to go to fastlane to race this weekend. But due to our track attendence being low I feel " I must remain here to support or club". Lord knows I will miss alot races here local this fall because I plan on hitting as many big races I can including the BRL races. And if we don't have enough money in the bank no local place will exist. So I need to do what I can now to help. So maybe next month.
There are some things to be discussed including relocation a new place has been found and I need to be a part of that. If any of you guys go good luck.

Well if everything goes right, you guys should have a new menmber to the club some time around the end of Aug or the first part of Sep. Ill be on the road to Springfield on the 31st of Jul.
Im looking forward to looking you guys up and getting into racing with you. I just hope you will alow a noob to racing race with you all.

There will be oval racing on the west parking lot (at our home track) this Saturday 7-19-2008.

Road course people:
The Touring Class is growing; people are now dusting off their 1/12 scales. We have someone working on locating us 2" water hoses.

I will bring pics of a mall site that looks really good-high visability-restaurants-parking lot -immaculate-and we have permission to use it! If the board approves, we' ll run there (address to be disclosed if approved) on the date the board determines. I will post the location at least 2 weeks before we run there if approved.
