It's getting hot out and now the daily rains have started up but that's not going to matter much because we will finish out the season under a roof at NewRed Hobbies in Ocala. There are 2 classes that have been tied up mathematically. Larry Rarer has won Nitro Sprint and David Mosher captured 10.5 Late Model. But every other position in those classes are still up for grabs, as well as all the other classes. That being said, NewRed will be closed the weekend of July 4th (friday and saturday) leaving only the 28th and the 12th for any extra practice. With the big increase in turn out this year there is much more up for grabs and every position, TQs and point counts! The day after the points were posted from Race 5 everyone was trying to figure out where they needed to finish and how far ahead of whomever they were battling with. This has been a year of firsts for many of us. Let's make it end with some of the best racing action around.

The points are up on the FDOS site (http://www.fldos.org) with some of the tie breakers shown. Ties are broken by quantity of higher finishes.

7:30 sign up opens
8:00 track opens for practice
9:30 practice ends
10:00 green flag
2:00 if round 2 complete, continue to 3rd round, else continue to mains when round 2 is complete

As usual cars must go through technical inspection at the beginning of the day and after each qualifier. So don't hesitate to hop in the tech inspect line with your ride ready to practice that morning.
