Milezone 06-24-2008, 06:54 PM Hi Guys,
We just received the Speed 2 rides. This has got to be the best Corvette Greenlight has yet to put out. Sweet!

GLH Turbo 06-24-2008, 08:37 PM Are those what the production wheels look like on the C6R Corvette? They look more at home on an '80s Buick rather than a full out race car.

The ones on that car are not correct. Here is what the real ones look like:

Horseplay 06-24-2008, 10:37 PM I found these at my local Target acouple weeks ago, I scored the Corvette C6R & Pontiac Firebird. They had some others, But didnt see the Boss 429 Which i will have to get later
Horseplay 06-24-2008, 10:40 PM I actually have mine opened sitting here by me, Its a nice diecast. I know hotwheels made this model also, And i seen the 1:64 C5R Somewhere before which i could have bought but passed up the chance

tamiyatim 07-15-2008, 01:17 PM They just need to make steel dish 3" skinnies for the front of those drag cars... those 5 spokers dont look good on anything...
superduty455 07-16-2008, 01:18 PM I have to pick one of those C6R's up for my son. I'd love to see if Greenlight could pop this one out:

I'd buy a couple of those for sure.

greelt-prod 07-16-2008, 06:06 PM Hi Chris,
Don't worry, the "Jake" version is on it's way very soon indeed. Keep your eyes on the Factory 2-Packs for this version.
Also, notice the wheels on this car you show here. This is the racing wheel that we have on our current SPEED C6.R. It just isn't chrome here. On our next release it will be black to match it in one of the races from last season.
The wheels being shown on this thread (on that AutoArt 1:18th model) were used for the show car and in the first season I believe. They now use a BBS style racing wheel like the one you show here.
Thanks for all the comments,
- Matt
superduty455 07-17-2008, 12:26 AM Thanks Matt! I look forward to them.
You are correct about the wheels too.
I actually build models for my hobby(besides collecting cool die-cast) and bought the Scale Motorsports kit of the C6R with the BB Decals and the correct machined aluminum wheels. Haven't even started the kit yet and have about $200 into it.
I'll be a very happy guy to have the 1/64 of this and I hope you guys look into producing this in 1/24 scale.

Yes, it is!
Will 1/24 be issued?
I plan on buying a couple of the Jake versions in 1/64. I'll also buy a fw in 1/24!
