Caught the pilot for this Javier Grillo-Marxuach created series last week on ABC Family and it's a great send up of Men in Black and pretty much every superhero movie ever made. Lots of fun in-jokes for those soaked in pop culture like myself and many of you. Think Adam West's Batman and you're not too far off the mark.
New episodes air every Monday on ABC Family until they run out of the and hopefully renew the series.

Seemed too much like a watered down "Special Unit 2" which I found fun.

Will probably keep watching till the July good stuffs start again.

Sorry for necro-threading, but my wife and I completely missed "The Middleman" when it was on TV. We saw the promos for the DVDs of the one and only season on a Shout Factory DVD and added the series in our Netflix queue.

It was really entertaining (the plots are intentionally goofy) and the writers clearly know their SF books and movies, since they peppered the episodes with references. It's worth catching on DVD.
