I think you are doing the right thing. Supposed to let up raining for a while and then gonna refire back up this afternoon for a while and then stop. Later in the day will be a great time to work on the track and then some real good practice tonight. Tomorrow is gonna be perfect weather for racing and the track will be nice and moist all day for racing from this lovely rain. :p  Super traction time! :woohoo: Looks like another bonfire tonight  Some great practice tonight and shootout racing tomorrow. Dudda you are definitely an 1/8 scale guy! For those who run electric and nitro you can stop out tomorrow and run nitro with us on Sunday. Champ was there already and some others like Team Chronic. Erik, Bush and others now's your chance to put those electrics away and race nitro tomorrow with the big boys from the East and West. This is gonna fun.

Yep, starting time at 11 AM. We might run a shorter program (2 heats) to facilitate the east side folks.

The East West shootout is on 100% for tomarrow, the track turned out beautiful, it is open right now for free practice and camping for anyone that wants to come out and run, all of the east siders stayed over for tomarrow So now we need the west siders out.

are you still running 3 rounds of qualifying?

07-12-2008, 07:21 PM
The track is back into a great shape and it will be great for racing tomorrow. Practice is going on right now until dark. We'll start practice again tomorrow morning at 9 AM and start racing at 11 AM. We'll have to see how smooth the qualifying runs to decide if we'll have 2 or 3 rounds of qualifying. Our goal is to be done with racing by 6 PM to give the travelers enough time to get home at a decent time.

A lot! There's buggies, truggies, monster trucks, 1/10 trucks already there today! :woohoo: Track is sweeeeeet! The air is plain sick off the tabletop. Talk about flying high and landing the downside perfect. These guys know how to build jumps the right way :p  We're talking WOOR air, maybe a little more than WOOR had! Track is perfect and the rain did good. Gonna be great weather tomorrow and the turnout is gonna be better because the guys who ran the MORL are coming out to race nitro. :woohoo: See ya bright and early. Wait till you see the pictures Mike Champ took. Three of us in mid flight 15ft in the air over the table top. I was driving the truggy

What an awesome shootout race! It's great getting the Eastsiders together with the Westsiders for an event like this. The Eastsiders got the win by 5 pts! Just wait till next time  You guys are a great bunch of racers and it was a blast. We welcome you back anytime :) A huge thanks to Tony the owner of MX131 and their crew for putting on a great show, Mr. Warner for some great announcing as always, General RV for the free wireless internet and A-main hobbies for the hundreds upon hundreds of dollars worth of stuff like t-shirts, bearings, lipo packs, tons of big gift certificates! What a great way to end the race day with all this stuff to give away, and the trophies that MX131 provided were awesome, very nice metal trophies
There were 100's of pics taken and I can't wait to see them along with all the video footage. There was some huge air going on and it was like flying a plane :p . Stay tuned the pics will be posted. I don't remember who had the camera but the lens on the thing was huge so I think they will be high quality pics. I know what pictures are gonna be on my screen saver :woohoo: Thanks everyone for a heck of a fun weekend. Hey Hank W. I didn't even know MX131 had brochures made up with pics and all the info on them! They are sweet looking! I'll stop by and get some so Kevin can drop them off at gas stations he goes to work on all over West Michigan.
Thanks for the fun guys!

Wow, nice pics! You guys did an amazing job on this track. I liked the track when I came out for the cash back race, but all the changes you did made this track 100 times better :)

My favorite pic is a couple where you managed to catch my truck on the table top when it was almost vertical. I tried to make my truck do that every lap because it looked so cool :)

Can't wait to see more pics, keep em coming!

Hey Kenny,
Did you place in the top 3 in the A main in your class? I thought someone mentioned your name. Either you forgot your trophy or missed out on one of the $50 Amainhobbies certificates. Did you leave early? If you did you should have stuck around. Glad to see you out at MX131!

Nice pics Dave. Dude I had a blast. Even the 1/10 scales were catching major hangtime. (Especially the yellow truck!!!!..LOL) When's the next race there? Can't wait to get back and enjoy the best track and people. Long day but it works when there are no issues. Also the door prizes were great. Don't see them type of prizes given away everyday! See you next race!

LD LD.....

Yeah, I think everything went extremely well. The day went very smoothly without any glitches whatsoever.
Much of that is due to the fact that we didn't have to wait for Marshall's, and everybody was ready to run when their heat was up.
So for that, my thanks go out to all the racers and their pit personal. You guys are awesome!!!!

Also, thanks for the kind words, it's greatly appreciated!!

(Smalls.... I also wanted to personally thank you for your help with the computer and the lagging situation.)

I placed first in 1/10 truck, and I was sure to stick around - I was very pleased with the trophy and the 15 dollar gift certificate I won! I appreciate the concern though.

Cool! WTG on the win! It must have been someone else who left without a trophy. I'm sure MX will get it to him the next time he comes out.
