Just want to find out if there is any interest in running a marathon race at MX131. The race would be multi hours long with multiple people on a team that will run the same car. Details as far as marshalls and stuff are still to be figured out. Please fill out the poll if you would be interested in participating in this event.

With a 4 person team, marshalling can be rotated through the team members. 1 person would be marshalling, 1 would be racing, and the remaining 2 would be either resting, helping with marshalling or be in the pit lane..... Sounds like great fun to me!

I think this would be sweet to try. I picked 3 guys two hours. Only question would be who's engine we would use? lol
If you guys set a date I'll see if me and my buds could make it. Cool idea though.

Just remember the low end needle is where you get your "SNAP" the top end needle just controls the temp. No more than 215-220 at 3/4 full, 250 at the end of a tank. :woohoo:

How do you tell the temps?
I only can guess at them..

I think my main problem is I keep confusing righty tighty and lefty loosey and which is more or less smoke.

Where is odonells and why would I want a stopwatch and a temp gauge? Do you think they will sell me just a temp gauge?

Tower, Stormer,A-Main they all have them about $40 nice thing is it holds the MAX temp measured so you dont have to worry about pointing it just right to get a good temprature reading.

That sounds good. Then I can just take the temp all day long and when I get home look at the max temp. Then if I find it got to hot when look, I'll know I need a bigger carby restrictor or not. I do know sometimes it runs much better when I put a new air filter on it. You've been much help, thanks!
