if possible, you need to have it 'De-Gaussed'

You still use the old CRT monitors? LCD's aren't affected by those.

If you have a "Menu" or "Setup" button on your monitor, see if there's a Degauss function & try it.

Question is, WHY was your rotor around the monitor?

Todd, that is a funny question. Remember we are talking about the weatherman. I thought I overheard Deel telling him that it would make his car faster if he did that. LOL

Uh, yeah, probably not... You weren't trying to do a demo of the Speedmeter 2 by holding your rotor to the monitor to see what it reads, are you? :)

What a dumb ass lol.....

Who's this? Just curious...

Ok heres the story. I have a large table in my spare room of my house. the table has the computer on one end and my RC stuff on the other. I was looking at the rotor when i was on the computer. It was the one i got from ken (No wounder) Then i saw this cool light go across the screen. well before i relized that i had a roto in my had the screen whent green.

THANKS KEN!!

I think it works because that rotor made my motor 2 times faster.

Hmmm... Yeah, I can see that...

You can also try this... Take the rotor, smack the pinion end with a hammer, like you'd be using the rotor shaft as a punch. The agitation of the grain structure of the magnet will increase the rating like 100 points on a meter. Microwaving the rotor (in a microwave) will also increase the points. I mean, look at the charge it's taking when you see the lightning bolts come off it!

Hee hee... I'm really just kidding... Just don't tell Lanway...
