L4OvalRacer 06-19-2008, 11:41 PM Remember Never keep a 12.3mm Rotor to close to your computer screen. Does anyone know why this makes the screen go crazy??

....magnetism :hat:
swtour 06-20-2008, 02:23 AM if possible, you need to have it 'De-Gaussed'
KenBajdek 06-22-2008, 10:55 AM You still use the old CRT monitors? LCD's aren't affected by those.
L4OvalRacer 06-22-2008, 02:21 PM ?? IDK its a new Compaq Monitor. I dont think its LCD..
Thanks
Taylor
And Ken it was one of your Rotors also..
irvan36mm 06-23-2008, 07:03 AM If you have a "Menu" or "Setup" button on your monitor, see if there's a Degauss function & try it.
ToddFalkowski 07-02-2008, 04:12 PM Question is, WHY was your rotor around the monitor?
KenBajdek 07-02-2008, 05:36 PM Todd, that is a funny question. Remember we are talking about the weatherman. I thought I overheard Deel telling him that it would make his car faster if he did that. LOL
L4OvalRacer 07-02-2008, 07:25 PM Shut up Ken quit while your ahead!!!
Todd Dont worry about it you wouldent understand.. Its a very complicated event!! Kinda like how Ken drives a Pan Car. LOL!
Racer4242 07-02-2008, 07:32 PM What a dumb ass lol.....
L4OvalRacer 07-02-2008, 08:14 PM look whos talking..... LOL!
ToddFalkowski 07-02-2008, 09:05 PM Todd, ...... I thought I overheard Deel telling him that it would make his car faster if he did that. LOL
Now THAT is a priceless statement...
Todd Dont worry about it you wouldent understand.. Its a very complicated event!!
Uh, yeah, probably not... You weren't trying to do a demo of the Speedmeter 2 by holding your rotor to the monitor to see what it reads, are you? :)
What a dumb ass lol.....
Who's this? Just curious...
oldtimer 07-02-2008, 09:20 PM Hey todd he never said why he had that nxt to the monitor  did he see you oval nuts in the fall
ToddFalkowski 07-02-2008, 09:32 PM No, he sure didn't... Seeya at the SOS Ken (Boehm, that is...)
L4OvalRacer 07-02-2008, 09:38 PM Ok heres the story. I have a large table in my spare room of my house. the table has the computer on one end and my RC stuff on the other. I was looking at the rotor when i was on the computer. It was the one i got from ken (No wounder) Then i saw this cool light go across the screen. well before i relized that i had a roto in my had the screen whent green.
THANKS KEN!!
I think it works because that rotor made my motor 2 times faster.
ToddFalkowski 07-02-2008, 09:44 PM Hmmm... Yeah, I can see that...
You can also try this... Take the rotor, smack the pinion end with a hammer, like you'd be using the rotor shaft as a punch. The agitation of the grain structure of the magnet will increase the rating like 100 points on a meter. Microwaving the rotor (in a microwave) will also increase the points. I mean, look at the charge it's taking when you see the lightning bolts come off it!
Hee hee... I'm really just kidding... Just don't tell Lanway...
L4OvalRacer 07-02-2008, 09:54 PM Ok Ill try that. Any ask lanway told me to do it..
Gushotrod 07-04-2008, 08:45 PM ....must....microwave....rotor.................... .................................................. .................................................. ...................................ding!
Gushotrod 07-05-2008, 06:03 PM ......must.......buy.........new microwave.........................................
ToddFalkowski 07-06-2008, 09:27 PM Think that would be about it, Doug! :)
KenBajdek 07-06-2008, 09:48 PM At least you would get a good fireworks show!!!
