John,

How's the racing in Houston going?

That's an area of the country we just don't hear much from in the OVAL world...

(Never been to Texas...hmmm)

oh, and btw - Sunday is the 20th.

Oval racing is relatively new on a small asphalt oval in Houston. There has been some dirt oval and 1/4 scale oval previously. Not a lot of racers yet. We have had up to 12 and a steady six. Thanks for the date correction.

I lived in Houston a few years ago, we only had one oval track, North Houston Speedway.....1/4 scale track, super big and very nice, not a good turnout at all for 10th scale...

Sunday September 7 th at 11:00 AM signup will be our 8th and final oval series race for this summer. Expect a short awards ceremony and prizes to given out the following week.

New comers are of course welcome. We had a 1/12 scale class at one time. This can be brought back at a moments notice. We could have a heat for as few as two cars.

Current classes are 13.5 four cell, Winston Cup (expert) and 13.5 four cell Busch series (beginners). 1/12 stock or 17.5 brushless 4 cell on request.
