Here's a shot of a Lee Petty Plymouth I built a few years ago for our 440x2 1957 Nascar series. I always like to run something different.

Uh, not sure. I picked it up at some random toy show I got dragged to by some friends way back in the 20th century. It sure saved the show. I was sick of hot wheels, star treck, and marvel comics. Not that I never liked any of that stuff growing up, but when I got into slot cars, well, it's just a whole world of goodies. It was dark red plastic with white plastic axles and wheels. It also had 2 supports holding each axle. It was mint. I was told later that that might have been worth some real money and the guy that sold it to me didnt really know what he had. But, of course, that was after I had already hacked it up. I didnt care, I had a Lee Petty stock car to run!
Does anyone else out there have a Lee Petty stock car? Am I the only one?
Rich - Diehard Petty fan.
Did anyone else out there make a Petty 78 Dodge Magnum?

Well, I wanted to add a better pic for the discussion. These shots are better than the one I had. Lee Petty did actually have red numers on the top of this car. I really like the way the fins look on these cars. There big enough to put any Chevy or Ford into the wall. I'm sure Lee put them to good use. I get to relive that technique when we run the class. As a bonus, you get a shot of the Tbird.

The Tbird is possible. The Plymouth is long wheel base. A Tyco exclusive in 1961.
