Well guys and girls I started a new thread to spread the word of the track. The name comes from the previous track I had. The infield mirrored that of a tornado. Name stuck and have a banner that has it as well. Hard to change it now! Track is located at 20 mile and Pine Lake Ave. I decided that Thursday will be practice day. This track is simply to practice and have a good time. As stated in previous thread power is available and plenty of room to pit. All electric and nitros are welcome. Practice fee is a 6 pack!!!!!LOL!! Come on out and enjoy some racing. Any questions please feel free to contact me. For those hearing about it for the first time the track surface is hard packed dirt with clay covering all jumps and burms. I will keep it moist for running. Look forward to meeting some new faces. 131 north to Cedar Springs exit. Head East until you "T" into Pine Lake. Then go North to 20 Mile. My house is on the NE corner of 20 Mile and Pine Lake. 16470 Pine Lake Ave.

No, none in the pond. I will pump it out if it doesn't dry out itself. Usually it's really dry in the summer anyway. Sand Lake is located in Michigan. Pic was taken after nearly 5" of rain fell throughout the week. Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks Swint....Nice job drivin the truggy!!!! Oh and the electric once ya got it going....Just kidding around. Track seems to suit all car and trucks. This Thursday I have plans I forgot about. Boss informed today. Were changing the back lane tomorrow so I'm thinking just starting next week. Call me if you want to come out over the weekend. Gonna run Dukes Saturday.:woohoo:

Last night we doubled up the tubing around the "pond" and along the big burm. Also buried the ends of the tubes in the ground so everything is smooth sailing. Gonna add a section to the drivers stand to accomadate more racers. Might host a race this summer if everything comes together. Stay posted. Swint, we moved the back straight just for you! (Thanks for the good ideas) and also put up the "Marty" barriers to keep the truggy inside the track.LOL! Plan on next Thursday for sure. Come out and have a good time.

I got the other section of scaffolding painted up tonight, now I just need to finish up the decking and we'll be Rock-in!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Don't forget about this Thursday. Car pool up to the great north. Plans are in the works to hold a payback race this summer. The great people at MX131 said we might be able to borrow the amb. Thinking about doing a 75% payback. 25% going towards a porta pottie and possible some food. I will post more info as it comes together. Look forward to seeing some new racers!

Track was great on mon night. Thanks for letting us (don,john,marty,andy and myself) run a test and tune.Had a blast. Sounds like there will be a few others this thur. 1 guy is prob going to bring out this kick a$$ electric 1/8 as well. When I talked with him he said he was going to smoke everything on the track with it. I told him to make sure he brings his wallet.

Plan is to run on Thursday. Depends on how much rain comes on Wednesday. Otherwise might run on Sunday. I know I'm sticking around the house with these crazy a$$ gas prices... My nitro costs enough!

No racing on Thursday....Received to much rain to get it ready for Thursday. Plus there will be some maintenance done. Come out next Thursday. Bring electric or nitro. Looking to set a date for a payback race. If anyone can tell me when the "big" races are so I can plan around them. It will be a 75% payback with a bon fire bash to follow. Looking to do it sometime in late August.

The MX131 crew is awesome. They are just trying to help out other tracks just like Duke did for MX131. Duke let them use his transponders when they first started up. These are two great tracks to be involved with. You got a sweet track too :thumbsup: :woohoo:

This track if for practice mostly but there is a payback race coming in September! I have been fortunate to have Hank from MX131 to lend me the AMB system for the weekend. Stay tuned for all the details! It will be for both nitro and electric with 75% payback.

I plan on lowering my supension to truggy height and come out to run this Thursday. Track will be open on Sunday. Will get started around 3:00. If you haven't been out come check it out. Just got done building stairs and a railing all the way around the drivers stand. Looks like the payback race will have to be next year. To many BIG races and with myself racing it's gonna have to wait.
