and bought some custom arms on ebay i THOUGHT were for a tomy G+, but are actually for an Aurora G plus.

i dont like the orignal G-plus, a pain in the butt to work on.

anyone know any other inline cars that use the same arm? the com doesnt fit a tomy endbell very well, and the rear shaft is shorter than a tomy arm.

live and learn

Hello Mike,

as far as i can remember Aurora/Tyco arms are not compatible
with Tomy. The brushes don't fit to the collector angle so the car
won't run.

Guess you could put them up on the S&S forum or back on the bay. Don't feel bad, we all probably done something similar. I know I have. rr

Is it day time?
Am I vertical?
Then I've probably screwed something up!

Wanna hear about my recent crash and burn on a cigar box black camaro? Need a tow truck myself from time to time.

Arms will be shipped to someone who will make use of them

Thanks to everyone who expressed interest.

I got back what I paid for them, and it sounds like the buyer will use them for their intended function.

So it all ended well, which is more than I can say for most of my mistakes!
