All,

I was lucky enough to get the regular piece in the sealed case of Hobby cars I ordered, and decided to hang on to it just in case I came across the Green Machine... and thanks to a good friend, I now have matching #5 Hobby Series Road Runners!

Also kinda got me thinking... would it be worth it to start a thread or a site for people to post which cars/numbers they are looking for? Sort of an "I have X# Boss 429 Green Machine, and would like to get the same in regular trim" Thoughts?

I personally would like to see the low number thread. I have several I picked up with low numbers. I suggested this over on GLG but it did not seem to take off. Most said the odds were too great. But if you can help someone match one I think it would be worth the effort. :thumbsup:

I think that there are a few people looking to match up their GM's with the regular releases, myself inlcuded. I know it is a long shot, but I would say that it is worth a shot.

The Green Machines are run/numbered seperately from the regular releases. For example, the Black Bandit series of cars there were 4032 of each car and 2% were Green Machines. That means that there are 80 are Green Machines (numbered 1 to 80) and there are 3952 regular releases (numbered 1 to 3952).

I would like to match up some of my regulars to my GM's.
I did however get 2 of my GM's from 2 different people in different parts of the country and there both #97. Now whats the chances of that?

I am happy just to find a GM. But it would be nice though.
