Ok, the format for this race will be the usual 3 heats and then the mains with a 12:00pm start time. However, the 1st and 2nd qualifiers (the front row) in each class will have the options of giving up there spots and if either of those drivers wins from the back it's an extra cash prize to the winner, the cash prize will be based on the car entry. For all those who don't know we have a new outside wall. We tested it out last Friday night and we had really great results and it made for better racing. The classes so far for this race are 13.5 and Spec Truck, I would like to make a 3rd class for this event, either 17.5 or 10.5. I will need to get some feedback on which one. There will be awards for the top 3 in each class and a few specialty awards as well. Any questions just post or shoot me a PM.

jr81, I saw John Jr. yesterday and if you guys need anything to be able to get on the track just let me know.

I can run 13.5, 10.5 or 17.5. So lets go guys he wants feedback so post it please!!!my vote is for 17.5 but will run 10.5 Pick a class guys!
17.5 is stock motor speed. Im not afraid of 10.5. I dont have the stuff to run spec truck. If I have to drive 5+ hours I want to be able to run 2 classes as I have 2 cars and stuff to do it. I hope my back lets me go this time in july, I am having white monster left turn go fast feaver ! LOL I go back to the mega track days and the new track is better, racing there puts a big smile on my face even if im in pain from my back!

For any out-of-towners, would anyone be interested in practice on the 19th? I figure if anyone is coming from out of town, they would like to get some practice in instead of making the drive 2 weeks in a row. If no one is interested then I will stop bugging Charlie.

we want to run 4 cell 17.5. Lipo 17.5 would maybe faster than 10.5 4 cell so I dont think many ppl will want that since 10.5 does not have much support either. The days of 7.4v lipo are here for dirt oval and offroad. Pan cars are just to fast until they either come up with motors to slow it down or come out with a 4.5-5v lipo. I dont know much about lipo 7.4 v pancar racing but I do think lipo is the future of rc car racing. 4200 nimh pissed alot of ppl off including me LOL

Ok guys, which one do you want 17.5 4-Cell or 10.5 4-Cell. Time's running out and I'm ordering the awards next week.:)

17.5 should be used for spec truck with spec batteries, I still want to race 10.5, still looking for that 42 lap run, maybe I should do 41 first, but only if I have to. :thumbsup:

Where because I only see 1 for 10.5 and 1 for 17.5, but there's at least 3 of us for 10.5 that are'nt afraid to go fast.

Just to make my vote clear I will do either 17.5 or 10.5 but I would preffer 17.5 so please count my vote for 17.5. I am not afraid of 10.5 I just think 17.5 class could get bigger like it has at allot of places. 10.5 is just to much for most ppl and thats why 17.5 class grows. You can even allow ppl with a stock motor to run with us since its very close in speed, that has been done at my 2 local tracks. Its also a good class to start in to warm up and get better before u take on the fast guys in 13.5

We'll be there with 2 13.5's and a spec truck...

10.5 or 17.5 is of no difference to me.

Looks like a beautiful evening for racing under the lights on the banks of the White Monster at tonight's weekly event prior to the big race... hopefully we'll get a full house next weekend.

I haven't heard anything on tech-ing motors, but I'm thinking if we suspect cheating we'll take out the motor and hit it into the woods with a 7 iron? If you find it and it still works, then it'll be cleared. Just kidding... but this is a question for Coopey to answer.

There are lights, but I don't know that plans for Saturday early evening practice... I will follow up with the owner to see and hopefully some of the others can respond as well.

We run our weekly show on Friday night and it is quite fun under the lights.
