USHRA Monster Jam will be at Stafford Motor Speedway July 26 & 27th!!!

To maximize the potential of exposing new people to this great hobby of ours, we will be hosting an RC Swap Meet!! Bring in ALL your R/C Goodies - Trains, Planes, Boats, Cars, etc - and get some exposure from the MANY spectators at the Monster Truck Event that may be interested in getting into this hobby at an affordable price!!

Swap Meet Fees:

$10 for a 3 foot Pit Spot per person
$5 for each additional pit spot.

Doors open at 10am.

Truck Race Info:

Offered Classes:

Gearbox Trucks - Traxxas Rustler, Losi XXXT, Assoc T4 & similar
- either box stock or 27T motor & 6 cell battery with foam tires
NASTRUCKS - Pan Car Chassis, Truck Body, 27T motor, 4 cell batteries, foam tires

As always, classes may be added upon request of 3+ drivers.

First Heat is 6pm .

IFMAR Qualifying! Resort after 2nd round. 3 Heats & Main

Race Fees:

$20 - 1st class

FREE - 2nd class

Ages 16 & under with adult entry - only $10!

wow.....what a great idea.......If a bunch of guys get together and put some old rtr cars together.......that would be a great step into getting new blood into the track.......

So how is everyone doing on the 'spring cleaning' of their tool boxes & hobby rooms to get ready for the swap meet???

I will post the swap meet pricing this weekend and start posting flyers around town & at the speedway.

Truck race starts at 7 PM but we could bump up the 1st heat to 6PM if people would like??

The first post has been edited with the swap meet pit spot fees. It will be $10 per 3 foot pit spot space per person. $5 for each additional 3 foot pit spot.

might be making it with a bunch from down here. we dont do much with 27t anymore. how bout 13.5 or spec

You bring it, we'll run it! We tried a Duratrax spec motor in the trucks & they are way too slow on our track. Kinda like watching paint dry.

Don't forget the new hours! Friday 6-9PM and Sunday 8am-til racing ends. Closed this Saturday.

we use trinty spec motors with f brushs and spec pack and doing about 35mph here in trucks. doing about 44 with 13.5 in cars,w/4600s

I'm pretty sure everyone used stock 27T motors last Friday. We left most of the rules open to get a feel for things. I think Mike left it up to the racer's to decide amongst themselves what they would run. Should have a better idea for rules by the end of the month.

Its a Monster truck race on the large track that weekend . Thus trucks on the 26th. Bring yur Sk sunday.

Only a week until the swap meet!! Hope everyone is cleaning out their designated hobby rooms for this big event! Remember, it's not just rc! You can bring die cast, models, trains, planes, even that bracelet making kit aunt tilda got you for Christmas last year! If it's hobby related, and you don't want it anymore, put a price on it, pack it up and bring it in!

Don't forget the truck race Saturday night as well!!

Ok today's the day! Doors open at 10am for the swap meet! & truck racing starts around 6PM tonight when our race director arrives!

Can't wait to see everyone & see what r/c goodies you have pulled out of storage for today. Will I see a mighty motor???? LOL!
