View Full Version : Under the Hood Club
Natedawg 06-06-2008, 05:15 PM I was on the Greenlight site today, and I saw some info about this and it looks interesting. I did a quick search on ebay to see what cars the club had released, and found several cars that were obviously already released through this club. How long has this club been running? How many cars are currently available on the site? Also, is the membership good for one year from when I join, or does everyone have to renew at the same time like the RLC?

The club site opened at the beginning of Nov. 2007, but the official launch and renewal date for pre-registrants is Dec. Right now there are 7 club cars and all are still available for purchase:
Membership buy in 'Cuda - green
'67 Impala SS 427 - yellow
Dodge Challenger Concept - yellow
Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee - blue
'68 Mustang 2 + 2 - red
'67 Corvette Convertible - chrome
There has been no official word on membership renewal, but it is assumed that the membership is good for one year from when you joined.

rattlehed 06-08-2008, 10:57 PM A few items were added to the site for sale I guess on friday. These items are stuff I guess didn't sell out. They had complete Target sets of MCG4, sealed inner cases w/chance of green for $48+s&h. They had sets of the solid pack Challenger and Camaro concepts, 4 car sets, order 3 sets and get a sealed case w/chance of green. A few single cars from various series' + sealed inner cases of Corvette 12 car sets(series 2 I believe). I got an email from them on Sat saying that a customer had returned an order containing 35 green machines. Starting at 1pm eastern Sunday, the first 35 members to spend over $50 before shipping would get a free Green Machine with their order. The freebie is a vette Indy pace car, pretty sweet! The club and members there are top notch. The boards are very laid back. No crying or flaming, it's a refreshing change for an ex-RLC member! The club exclusive cars are very nice! Last month they had a sale and introduced t-shirts, folks that spent $45 or more were entered into a drawing for 1 of 5 pre production green machines, they have one of these events from time to time and they always find a way to make it good. It's a great place, all interested should check it out.
Natedawg 06-10-2008, 03:52 PM How much are the regular club cars, like the ones that GLH Turbo posted? Also, does the club membership price include shipping, or is shipping on top of the $25?

The regular club cars are $9.95 each plus shipping and come in a really nice display box. The $25 membership price includes shipping for your club car and keychain.
transambill 06-10-2008, 11:52 PM I'm a member and highly recommend it.
Theres a company/collector relationship there like no other.
I've posted questions at 2 in the morning and gotten answers from inside the company within 5 minutes.

I don't spend too much time over there but seems like a cool place. Just joined before the Corvette sale. I have been wanting to but never could find the $$. BTW @ GLH I paid shipping for the membership kit.
