hi everybody, how's things going today, i have question i know it sounds noobish but if noone tells you these things then one must ask .

i could use some helpful information about a couple things, first off how long should i charge a 4200 6-cell flat pack for using the duratrax intellipeak mini pulse charger? the reason i ask, it doesn't mention any charge times in the directionsm and no charge info came with the battery concerning charge time. any help would be appreciated. thanks for you time and patients.

well if its a peak charger, its gonna do it all itself. "you" will not have to charge it for any amount of time. "it" will do it for you. a 4 cell 4200 takes about 45 minutes, at 6 volts. so your gonna be about 45-60 minutes to come from .9 volts per cell if thats where your starting.

you need to get a decent charger like a lrp pulsar thats like the cheapest charger i would use you can pick one up for about 50.00 or less on here al day and the reason why i say you need one like that is because it has like 4 things on the screen all the time and they are all important first is charge time "how long its been charging" 2 current supply amps "hpw many amps its pulling from your power supply" 3 voltage "how many volts your packs at" AND #4 THE MOST IMPORTTANT Mahr"this tells you how many milliamps have currently been put in your pack on this specific charge".........you can also kind of go by the heat of the packwhen your pack gets hot you have a decent charge on it... sometimes i go to extreme and charge my 4600 energ packs @ 10amps and when they are done charging i have to use a pair of needle nose pliers to pick the pack up and put it in the car because its so hot..... i dont recomend doing tht but it can be done and those energ cells hold up like champs
