Got some information on having custom ships crest patches made from my designs, they would be 4 1/2 inch diameter, also possible coffee mug with the logo. Anyone interested? Suggestions on reasonable asking price. Would anyone buy something like this if I had them done.

cafepress will do the mugs on a per mug basis.. you don't pay anything at all, they have a 'wholesale" price for you, and a 'retail" price for other customers. You make the difference from the sales, and they handle all the productions, shipping, ect.

I'm sure there has to be someone who does patches like this as well.... cafe press does other things like mousepads, t-shirts and the like as well...

Should have added, If the design looked good, I'd pop a few dollars for one or a couple. FYI. Although a number of Voyage patches have shown up over the years (one with the Seaview, head-on view, another variant with the Flying Sub out of it's bay - both based on or done by Fred Barr, and at least one other of the Flying Sub in flight) there actually was a real patch.

If you look closely in the Voyage movie you can see some of the crewmen wearing an actual shoulder patch in some scenes. Looked like it was round, about 3" to 4" across and had the Seaview (or a representation of it) on a light or white colored field if I remember right. I think the Seaview was actually RED in the patch, and it looked more like a torpedo, wasn't really a good representation of the ship if I remember right.

For whatever reasons, I think these got dropped from the television uniforms. But it'd be a good starting point at least.
