We are working hard to get a large group of Electric 1/8th scales together for the Jones race. We are putting out the word all over.

That will be great to see! Reminder though with the series, I know most 1/8th's are using soft sided packs, reminder to everyone that if you are using a soft sideded you have to put on a lexan cover to protect it. only the exposed parts of the packs have to be covered. the parts covered by a battry slot do not need to then again be covered by the lexan. We do have some sheets of it for sale at the track for $5, I think there are 4 still available.

My body is lexan and it covers the battery.

Fish rc, can the lexan we use under the chassis ( the ahesive type) be used on the exposed part of the battery? The problem alot of guys will run into is body clearances and that would help.

Thanks to the great group who came out to Jones, MI and made for a great race day for the 1/8th scale electrics. Seems like we all had a blast and the racing was close and exciting.

That is the kind of event that we need to continue to expose this great class to other racers.
The Truggy exhibition went great too.. with a lot of racers getting their hands on the radio for a few laps of fun!!!

Thanks to the MORL organizers for a great race program and for the Jones crew for keeping the track up and a running very nice facility.

Had a good time hanging out with every one at Jones. Man that track gets blown out fast.

Nothing like TQ'ing 4wd drive just to have the switch get turned off a couple laps in. Thanks for coming.

Oh, and the 2wd stayed in 1 piece all day. Except for thermalling. :woohoo:

Can't wait for Stateline since I have ran there a few times the last couple years. I know what to expect from their track.
