Greetings . :wave: I'm looking for Info on converting a horizontal 17 hp Intek into a Vertical Intek Motor . I understand , the Inteks Have an oil pump. i have mowed some steep stuff with it ,and it keeps on ticking, so the oil pump "should" work in the vertical ...??? The only thing I can see would be to redo the oil fill tube so that it wont leak oil being now vertical . And some how turning the carb

In my opinion its an overall bad idea. Because the way the oil pump is setup ( i think its got a dome shapped screen on the bottom sump of the engine and just suck oil from their.
