Location: All About Hobbies
Rte. 16
Chaffee, NY (Between Yorkshire and Holland)
This Sunday, June 1 will be the first race day at the All About Hobbies clay offroad track. No race fees, just come check it out, hang out at the shop, and have fun! This will be our "dry run" for holding a race, as the timing system just arrived this past week. Then regular racing will be held every Sunday.
Practice Begins at 10:00, racing around noon.
No real defined classes as of yet; we'll have to see what everyone brings. Best guess is 1/10 stadium truck (electric and nitro), 1/10 4WD Buggy, Monster Truck, 1/8 Buggy, Truggy. So pretty much whatever you run, bring it and we'll find a way to run it.
I'll try to post up some pics tomorrow. The track's pretty neat; it's built into the side of a hill with the driver's stand looking over it. The clay is VERY hard packed. Not quite blue groove style yet; it still dusts up, but very little.
Any Questions, just ask and I'll be glad to answer.
